finally found a great infant bath helper!
So finally after baby number two arrived I found this lifesaver. I had tried numerous baby baths the first go around--the ones with fabric slings the ones with battery operated showers and the ones with special contours etc. I was always grossed out by the fabric slings not seeming to be clean. The shower ones were pieces of garbage. So the end result was to use an inexpensive plastic tub with a flat bottom and insert the Primo infant bath seat. I would put a hand towel down on the seat to make it softer for my baby. The seat supported her great and the towel got thrown in the laundry after each bath. Easily cleanable. Wish I had found this for the first baby too! After she was able to sit up I took out the Primo seat and used the inexpesive baby bath until she was old enough to go in the big bathtub. Worked Fabulously!

great tub
I have a 1 month old and she loves taking baths in this tub. It works well and so far we've had no problems with it. It is much more durable than some of the other tubs we've seen on the market and in my opinion is worth the money.

Works for me!
I've been using this product for 5 years.
I know exactly what the problem is that all the "1 star" reviewers are having.
This product is NOT designed to fit over a faucet.
It is designed to fit over a SHOWER HEAD.
It does NOT fit on a faucet as faucets are not usually round as this products connector is. Mine fits perfectly over the round shower head. The blue rim you see in the picture is actually a clamp that holds the it on. Inside that clamp is a rubber gasket with a round hose to create a non-leak seal. The hose hangs down from the shower head and does NOT COME OFF.
The only problem I have with this product is after 2 - 3 YEARS the rubber gasket in the end wears out and it begins to leak where it connects to the shower head. 2 - 3 years is pretty good for a $10 product. Mine just wore out (for the 2nd time in 5 years) so I am going to buy another.

Fun and practical
I really like this snug-tub for many several reasons. First it has a suction cap for saftey and you can attached it to either the wall or the floor of your bath tub. Secondly with its air filled sides even if your baby accidently bumbs her head it will not caused any pain. The sides are also very comfortable and pillow-like and she can rests her head there (looking up) while I wash her hair. That actually makes washing hair much easier and prevents soap from entering into her eyes. Thirldly unlike a bath seat you do not have to fill your entire bath tub with water and that really saves a lot! The only thing I add onto it is a non-slip rubber mat to its floor. This is much better then having a bath seat because it is much harder to wash your baby's creases with all the bars in between.

Don't bathe a baby without it!!
I got this for my daughter almost 7 years ago and this was one of my best shower gifts. It allows the child to float on the water and fully supports them. My husband was a pro doing the bath when she was only a month old. I had trouble finding this a couple of times when I wanted to give it as a gift so I am glad that it is back.

A lot of the complaints are silly
Before I purchased this seat I read-over all the reviews. Upon receiving the seat I messed around with it quite a bit to "test" the most common complaints. There are a few funny quirks with it but I think a majority of the complaints are due to improper use or unrealistic expectations. This seat is the best bath seat on the market; the only legitimate "issues" it has are issues that would be shared with most any bath seat because of the general nature of restraining a floating child. I'm going to addess the most common complaints based on my experience.
1. The seat can float and it moves or doesn't stick: Well sort of. If you stick the seat to the tub and then fill the tub with water it traps air under the seat which can break the force of the suction cups and make the seat float. However if you partially fill the tub before putting the seat in you trap much less air underneath and it sticks just fine. Once the air is out the seat barely moves at all. If you push firmly on the seat you can get it to slide a little but that's kind of how suction cups operate when they are wet. I don't think the movement is worth the worry; my 2-yr old braced himself on the seat to stand up and it didn't move.
2. The plastic is hard and cuts into the skin leaving marks: There are no sharp edges on this seat and it doesn't really dig into the skin. The one issue I did see is that the leg openings in the t-bar are small and designed to securely hold the lower thigh or knee. If the baby is sitting all the way back in the seat with his back pressed against the back-rest portion this is not an issue. BUT as anyone with an infant can attest a baby's bottom wants to float/slide forward. My son ended up with his chunky thighs squeezed in there because he wouldn't sit back in the seat. It was tight fit as my son is 20lbs and he did end up with red marks on his legs. This bothered me however he could have cared less. He was so happy "free-sitting" in the water that he didn't seem to notice the tight fit. Also I think it's important to realize that the seat is a restraint designed to keep a very buoyant baby from floating or tipping over. Please tell me what seat restraint wouldn't leave some red marks? Or what design would prevent the baby from sliding forward?
3. The suction cups break off: This is the most ridiculous complaint that I read. First of all the cups are SCREWED to the bottom of the seat. Like with metal screws. I'm sure if you just grabbed the seat and ripped it out of the tub you *might* be able to tear the suction cups off. However I think we all know you aren't supposed to remove suction cups that way. The seat has four large cups each with an easily-accessable release strip. If you pull on each strip the suction cups pop right off.
4. The T-bar locks are difficult to operate: Freshly out of the box these latches are incredibly difficult to slide. I was anticipating a huge struggle when it came time to get my son out of the tub. However I discovered the that latches slide so much easier once they are wet. It's still slightly awkward to unlatch because of the angle but not impossible or overly aggravating. And honestly I would rather have the latches be a little tight then have them pop open on their own.
Bottom line: This seat makes bath time soooo much easier and is well worth the purchase (BTW I got it for $15 less at Wal-Mart). Four stars only because the locks are a little annoying.

Really like it!
I just got this tub and our 2 month old loves it! Whenever he's crabby at night I just fill this up and he stops crying as soon as he lays in it. He looks so comfy and he could just fall asleep in it. He doesn't slip around either so I don't have to worry so much. The only problem I have is that when it drains the soap builds up on the sling part but I just spray it off with the faucet sprayer and wash it after every few baths.

great product!
This inflatable tub is exactly what I was looking for. When our 8 month old was clearly outgrowing her reclined infant tub seat (which I used in our kitchen sink) I was reluctant to just put her in our enormous soaking tub. She can sit up on her own but could certainly topple over easily on the slick tub floor. Furthermore I hated the idea of wasting so much water filling up the tub for such a little person!
This inflatable tub is perfect! It takes just a few minutes to fill up with the perfect amount of water for our little one! I don't worry if she loses her balance a little bit because she just bumps against the soft inflatable sides.
I suggest keeping it inflated because blowing it up took some serious lung power and patience. Also make sure the little plastic drain cap is completely closed tight. The first time I used it I didn't have the drain cap on tightly so it leaked. I haven't had a problem with leaking since I figured that out.
This is a great product for that transition time between newborn bath seat and big open tub. I highly recommend it!

this tub is the ONE!
Save yourself the time and energy looking for a baby bath tub and head straight for this one. I'm so happy with this tub that I find myself making more time for bath time with my baby! First of all it's just so darn cute. But seriously here are my top reasons for loving this tub:
1) For the infant stage no sling to mess with. Although a sling sounds nice and hammocky you won't miss it. Sling issues from my experience include sagging baby suspended over the nice warm water not actually in it! Hard bumps for baby's tender back or bottom. None of those issues here!
Instead of the sling it's much simpler...baby's back rests against the soft oval padding you see in the picture. Baby is kept from sliding down into the tub by a removable ledge which leaves more of baby actually comfortable and IN the water with legs free to move and kick which makes bath time more fun and enjoyable! By the way it will take a little muscle power (not a bad thing) to remove the ledge when baby can sit up.
2) For the 6+ months stage or when baby is sitting up remove the ledge you have a basin large enough for baby to sit comfortably and play without knees knocking against the edges yet it's not so large that it takes up too much space or baby feels insecure. I also like the depth. It can be filled with enough water without having to be filled to the brim.
3) It comes with a perfect little accessory: a baby whale strainer that is (a) cute (b) functional (c) fun toy. First of all this baby whale is just adorable. Secondly it's very useful during the infant stage especially if you're not using the kitchen sink sprayer. Simply scoop up water and allow it to flow through the strain holes to rinse baby or tickle baby. Lastly when baby starts grabbing it becomes FUN for him or her. Curiosity cause and effect those lightbulb moment looks. Just priceless and again it's so simple.
4) It fits in the kitchen sink perfectly. It also works on the counter top since it has non-skid type material underneath -still use common sense and stay beside baby & tub. It fits in the bath tub as well. So where ever you want to use it the tub should work.
5) Price - this tub is the best value AND quality I've found. Many other tubs cost more but they have features that don't live up to expectations.

Very quiet very effecient.
My main requirement for a product as this is that it remain quiet. Before undershields I would stuff paper towels and tissue under my pits to prevent my sweat from showing through. They would rustle and embarass me to no end. Now that issue is irrelevant. You can easily forget that you have them on. They also absorb sweat well. However I think that in order to get the most out of them they have to be clean. I forgot to wash them for awhile and buildup caused them not to absorb as well. :D
